With one week remaining in the 2011 regular season, the Arena Football League released the schedule for the First Round of the 2011 AFL Postseason. In the National Conference, the Arizona Rattlers will host the defending ArenaBowl Champion’s Spokane Shock, on Friday, July 29 at 10 pm EST.
Last season, Spokane defeated Arizona, 57-49, in the First Round of the playoffs. The victory would ultimately lead to an ArenaBowl Championship for the Shock.
The Chicago Rush will host the Dallas Vigilantes in the First Round on Friday, July 29 at 8:30 pm EST. The Rush defeated the Vigilantes in Week 19, 53-44, and in Week 11, 69-57.
In the American Conference, the Cleveland Gladiators will host the Georgia Force or the Orlando Predators on Sunday, July 31 at 3:00 pm EST. Earlier this season, Orlando defeated Cleveland, 56-26, on May 14 while Cleveland defeated Georgia, 62-48, on June 11.
The South Division Champions, Jacksonville Sharks, will face Orlando or Georgia on NFL Network on Friday, July 29 at 8 p.m. EST. Last season, Orlando defeated Jacksonville, 73-69, in the First Round of the postseason.
