Seats also are selling fast for the Marlins-Yankees on April 2. Fewer than 5,000 seats remain for the second of two straight preseason games that will lead into Opening Night.
The Marlins are easing into their new home, making 25,000 tickets available for the Sunday, April 1 game with New York. The first pitch is set for 1:10 p.m. ET. Capacity at the retractable-roof park is 37,000.
Tickets for the April 2 meeting with the Yankees, at 7:10 p.m., can be purchased exclusively on marlins.com.
Marlins pitchers and catchers begin Spring Training workouts at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla., on Feb. 22.
Miami will open on April 4 against the defending World Series champion Cardinals at Marlins Park. Single-game tickets for the regular season, with the exception of Opening Night, will go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on March 3.
